Chapter 59 Don‘t You Know How To Talk Properly?
Byron had no experience coaxing children. Whenever Estie was angry with him in the past, it was Mrs. Zora whom he had asked to coax her.
Seeing his daughter crying in front of Rosalie now, a trace of panic flashed through Byron‘s heart. In the end, with a calm expression, he dully ordered, “Don‘t cry.”
He had thought that this sentence was void of emotion.
In Estie‘s ear, however, it sounded fierce.
The moment he said that, Estie sobbed harder. Her tears practically rolled down in a stream. Her head was lowered as she choked on her sobs. She was practically out of breath.
Byron‘s brows were locked, and he did not know how to react for a moment.
Seeing the little girl crying like this yet how cold Byron‘s response was as a father, Rosalie could not just stand and watch anymore.
“Is this how you treat your child? She‘s crying like this yet you spoke to her with that tone? Don’t you know how to talk to her properly?” When Byron was suddenly lectured by her, he could not help but be stunned.
Rosalie strode over to the Estie. She crouched down and held the little girl in her arms. She spoke with a gentle voice, “Good girl, Estie. Don‘t cry. If you like, you can come look for me any time you want to play with the brothers. I‘ll give you my contact information. Just call me when you come. Don‘t cry. If you keep crying like this, your eyes are going to hurt and you won‘t be pretty at all.”
Beside them, Lucian and Nox grabbed tissues and were waiting beside them.
“She has no friends in kindergarten. Only my brother and I don‘t dislike her and allow her to stay by our sides. She was bullied in kindergarten before this and my brother and I helped her. Do you want her to be alone in kindergarten instead of being friends with us?” Lucian was beside himself with anger as he questioned.
Having two of them question him consecutively, Byron‘s mood was complicated. Seeing that he had not said anything after a long time, the boys thought they had hit the nail on the head and were even more depressed.
Lucian had held back for a long time, but he still said what he was thinking in his heart, “We protected her and played with her, but now, you‘re obstructing us like this. Who do you take us for?”
Hearing his brother‘s words, Nox nodded firmly. They glared at the man angrily, their hearts filled with sadness.
The man before their eyes was their daddy. However, this person had abandoned their mommy before they were even born. Now, he did not like them as well and was not even allowing them to be friends with his daughter…
