Chapter 638 Atmosphere Is In A stalemate

Over the years, there was no other woman around Xander but her.

Even though she was two years older than Xander, Stacy acquiesced that she would be the future Lady of the Lancer family, but she did not expect to meet such a person today.

Seeing Rosalie surrounded with praise from everyone, Stacy became even more restless.

Stacy glanced around and saw Xander toasting with other doctors on the other side. She refilled her glass of wine, got up and walked over.

“Xander, haven’t you finished yet?” Stacy usually came to Xander’s side when exerting her authority.

Soon, her girl gang nearby let out a party cheer.

Xander was talking with a few people about medical issues, and was suddenly interrupted by Stacy, the smile on his face faded. “It will take awhile, Stacy. If you are bored, you can take the ladies back first. When I’m done with my work in a while, I’ll come visit you.” This was a tactful order to evict her.

Stacy felt unhappy for a while, but she walked closer to him with a smile on her face, raised her glass and looked at the doctors present. “Everyone here is Xander’s senior. As the big sister, I want to honor all of you with a toast for Xander, please accept our hospitality.”

After speaking, Stacy toasted and drank it, acting like a host.

Seeing this, several doctors looked at each other.

Although they felt inexplicable, they still took two sips of the wine glass obligingly.

Stacy smiled with satisfaction and stayed by Xander’s side.

The other girlfriends roared in cheers again when they saw the two got close.

Xander felt disturbed and could not continue, so he could only exchange pleasantries to several doctors apologetically. “We will discuss the other details another day. It’s almost time now. Let’s all have a good meal and go back early.” Everyone agreed.

Xander turned his head and glanced at the people around him, frowned imperceptibly, suppressed the displeasure in his heart, and took Stacy back to his seat.

Rosalie realized that Xander was going to use her as a shield, and momentarily did not knowhow to react.

For a while, the atmosphere was in a stalemate.

Xander turned his head stoically and looked at Stacy who was still sitting beside him.

Meeting his gaze, Stacy gritted her teeth silently, got up and took a seat to the side, giving Rosalie her seat.

Seeing this, Rosalie had no choice but to move and sit over.
