Yuna caught a glimpse of Kayleigh approaching him as Zac set down the cup in his hand.

He calmly closed his eyes and let go of his plans to follow Trevor around.

He shifted his gaze and said, "You can rest assured, President Hill, that Oliver is not interested in that piece of land in YJ Municipality.I am sorry, if it caused you any displeasure. Please excuse me for the time being."

He nodded and said goodbye after that, then walked over to Anika, who was conversing with Nataly on the other side.

He had only talked with Kayleigh some time ago because he wanted to plan something against Kayden, but he did not want to interact with her in front of everyone.

As Tony had previously stated, there were some things he could not tell Anika.

Alexa had already left when Zac arrived.

Nataly smiled and greeted Zac when she saw him.

She then stood up and walked away with grace.

With a crane, Zac stood there.

"Have you drunk?" he asked, his gaze falling on Anika's slightly flushed cheeks.

"I just had a drink and talked with Nataly" Anika smiled at him as she raised her head.

"Then let us go home,’ Zac sighed as he helped her up.

"Alright." Anika gave a light nod.

They were about to say their goodbyes to Grandpa Philipp when they heard the servant say the he was going to rest already.

Kayden was helping the old man stand up, and his expression changed slightly.

The phone in Anika's bag vibrated twice.

When Anika took out her phone, she discovered it was Kayleigh's Viber...

[Anika, please look for me upstairs.]

Kayleigh was afraid that Sonia would use today's banquet as an opportunity to introduce her to the talented young man, so she had been hiding upstairs and had not come down.

"Wait a moment longer’ Anika said, turning to face Zac.

"I will go talk to Kayleigh."

"I will accompany you upstairs and await for you to come back at the top of the stairwell"

Kayden had just helped Grandpa Philipp upstairs, so it was not that Zac did not believe her.

Who knew if it was a move by the Jenkins.

Anika paused for a second before nodding in agreement.

A hurried figure unexpectedly knocked them into each other just as they were about to go upstairs.

Anika stumbled into Zac's embrace and raised her head to see Lucy's slightly embarrassed figure standing there.

Lucy's hair was a little messy.

She had just run out of the guest room.

Obviously, she did not expect to bump into Anika at her most awkward moment.

She pulled her lower lip absurdly and stared blankly at Anika's calm gaze.

In Lucy's memories, whenever she was in a sorry state, Anika would always look at her with such arrogant, cold and mocking eyes.

She thought the situation was far too ironic.

'Why am I always on the losing end? Why should I put up with her haughty stare?’

"Anika, that was a joke. Are you happy now?"

Hearing Lucy's words, Anika frowned.

Anika had a vague understanding of something when she saw Gavyn, who was also in a sorry state behind Lucy, and Sonia, who was walking away from the guest room.

Kayleigh just stood there silently.

Anika was well aware that she was acting on purpose, but she could not tell Kayleigh her thoughts.

"Really, is that so?" Anika said with a chuckle.

Lucy clenched her teeth and drew her head back, her eyes filled with repressed rage.

On the second floor, they were both standing by the railing.

Downstairs, everyone's attention was drawn to her.

Lucy was embarrassed like she had never been before, and she could not stay for another second.

She returned to her room and shut the door without saying a word.

Gavyn gave Anika a puzzled expression before chasing Lucy down and knocking on the door.

The guests in attendance had their own speculations about what had happened.

‘She actually gave up on Kayden and started dating Gavyn?"

Anika and Zac returned to the villa.

She stood motionless at the entrance after entering and stared at the man in front of her.

Zac furrowed his brows and extended his hand to hold her, but Anika, who was drunk, stepped away.

The man chuckled as he saw her blushing cheeks after drinking.

"What just happened there? Kayden was so drunk and..."

"Today you were staring at someone else.’’ Anika cut him.

"Is that Harper very pretty?" Anika asked, her slightly drunk eyes were stained with a faint accusation.

"Harper?" Zac pondered for a long time before determining who Anika was pertaining to.

"Anika, are you jealous?" he asked, smiling down at her.

"No, I'm not.’ Anika said.

She subconsciously believed that she was not jealous because jealousy was an absurd emotion.

"No?"

Zac laughed as he raised his brows and shook his head.

"Clearly, I was conversing with Trevor. It is as if you were not looking at someone else now that we're talking"

Anika froze between her brows and paused for a moment before saying, "Someone told me she went into your room."

For a brief moment, the man was speechless.

"Answer me!" Anika was enraged.

‘‘Zac is speechless, could it be true?’’ She was not sure what had made her angry, but she was uncomfortable and wanted to lash out at him.

Zac's heart swelled with joy as he observed her irritated expression.

Taking advantage of her lack of reaction, he snatched her from her feet and trapped her in his arms, saying, "Trevor wanted to talk with me to apologize, but Frederick threw her out before I could respond. Is that something to be jealous of?"

"But"

"Huh?"

"When you are drunk, Anika, I think you are even cuter than usual." Zac cocked his head and said, in hushed tones, "Also, have faith in yourself. You are the only one I have eyes for"

"It was just a slip of the tongue; Zac added.
