Chapter 1070 The Two Children

After showering, Genevieve went to the garden to enjoy the breeze, ignoring Armand because she was still angry at the latter.

Noting that, Armand made her a portion of ice cream using the ice cream maker in the mansion. Nonetheless, she merely accepted it and continued ignoring him.

Armand lowered his voice and crooned, “Okay, I was wrong. Please forgive me.”

Genevieve scooped a spoonful of ice cream and stuffed it into her mouth, snapping, “You're not wrong. It's my fault. I shouldn't have talked to you when I saw you at the farmhouse.”

Armand sat beside Genevieve and leaned over to kiss the corner of her lips. However, Genevieve avoided him, looking disgusted. “Don't you kiss me with that mouth of yours. Hmph!”

Armand knew she was still mad at him. Thus, he said nothing, only brushing her hair with his fingers and tying it up using a hair tie.

Genevieve had calmed down a lot by the time she was almost done with her ice cream. “Take me to meet them when we get back.”

Lowering his head, Armand asked, “Who?”

Genevieve's expression turned stony when she heard Armand pretending to not understand her words. “Who? You don't want me to meet them because you're afraid I'd feel uncomfortable, right? Well, surprise, surprise. I'm not a petty person.”

The truth was, she was annoyed before she visited Dopdur Church. However, her heart softened when she found out the depths of Armand's love for her.

Unable to finish the ice cream, Genevieve fed it to him while saying, “I heard it's a painful process to give birth to children. I'm lucky those two are already older. Besides, they're cute, too!”

Armand was stunned, but he quickly understood what Genevieve was talking about and the reason for her anger.

Amused, he brushed Genevieve's hair and lowered his gaze to glance at her. “Did you think I had those children with another woman?”

His question puzzled Genevieve, and she asked, “Isn't that the case? Men can't get pregnant anyway, unless—”

“Shh. You better stop right there,” Armand cut her off, knowing where Genevieve was going.

Genevieve continued interrogating, “Then, who is it? I saw you accompanying a little girl at the hospital to get her injection. She looks quite cute. I bet her mother is pretty, too.”

Armand hummed in response and grinned. “Her mother is a famous daughter of a rich family in Jadeborough. She's a little narcissistic, too.”

Alas, Genevieve never got the woman's name, even when she had returned to her room to get some sleep.

After putting on a face mask, she lay on the bed and scrolled through Instagram to find Charlotte shamelessly posting pictures of herself. One of their mutual friends commented: As expected from an heiress. You look pretty and cool!

Suddenly, Genevieve realized Charlotte was the only one who fitted the bill for being Jadeborough's famous and narcissistic heiress.

However, Charlotte once told Genevieve she did not like men who were too old.
