Seeing Charlotte reject him, Jibson grabbed her cocktail glass and brought it to his lips, and took a sip of the cocktail from the area marked with her lipstick. “I can lend him to you, but what are the benefits?”

“I'll pay him double his daily wage.”

Charlotte chuckled, “Kurt used to be under me. If you don't lend him to me, I'll just give him a call.”

“You can try it.”
