Genevieve had been so busy in the past few days that she was physically and mentally exhausted.

Just as Steven was going to respond to that, she added, “Don't deliver breakfast and flowers over anymore. I'm worried that Sally's men are tailing him. I don't want to provoke that terrifying rabid dog again.”

After eating a bowl of oatmeal, Genevieve wiped her hands with a piece of tissue before leaving casually with her bag in hand.

Sighing, Steven went to the pantry and gave Armand a call.

Genevieve hailed a taxi. Fifteen minutes later, she arrived at the harbor.
