When Willow woke up the next day, she was still in Jasper's arms.

She had slept on one of his arms. His other arm rested on her waist, and the palm of his hand gently wrapped around her lower abdomen.

His palm was warm.

It felt as if she was wrapped like a burrito.

She could smell the light scent of sandalwood on his body.

Immediately, she recalled the way he pulled her into his arms the night before.

Willow moved a little and tried to get out of bed.

The muscles around her waist felt a little sore. His arm was very heavy. That was what made her sore.

Willow frowned slightly before holding Jasper's arm up. She carefully tried to shift his arm away from her.

Although she was very careful, he suddenly started moving while she was still doing so. He pressed against the bed to lift himself up.

Willow turned around and was met with a sleepy look in Jasper's eyes.

Willow paused and started explaining. "It's bright outside. It's time to get up and go to work."

Jasper withdrew his hand and sat upright. He then rubbed his forehead. His mighty presence made it so that Willow did not dare to make any sudden movements.

She got out of bed with the smallest range of motion she could manage.

Willow made it out of the room. Fortunately, Jasper did not make things tough for her.

While she was brushing her teeth in the bathroom, a tall figure walked up to the door. She suddenly felt tense.

Willow subconsciously turned around and saw Jasper standing by the door.

"Good morning…" She said in a muffled voice as there was foam in her mouth.

After greeting him, she quickly rinsed her mouth. She spit the foam in her mouth and cleaned her toothbrush. She then placed her toothbrush and cup back on the sink.

Jasper walked in and asked, "Do you have a new toothbrush?"

Willow was stunned for a moment. "No. I'll buy one for you."

Coincidentally, Jasper was also done cleaning up.

"Mr. Hughes, let's have breakfast," Willow said.

Jasper glanced at the two bowls on the table. There was an ambiguous look in his eyes.

Seeing how he stood still and did not intend to step forward, Willow suddenly recalled how he once said in Nason Village that food like this was beneath him.

Suddenly, Willow turned slightly frantic. "This is all I have at home. If you don't like it, I'll eat it all on my own…"

By the time she finished her sentence, Jasper had already sat down and fed himself a spoonful of oatmeal.

Willow was pleasantly surprised by this action.

She also sat down and quietly ate her oatmeal.

After the meal, she cleared away the dishes.

When she walked out of the kitchen, Jasper was still seated at the dining table. He only stood up and walked outside after seeing her come out.
