"Dad." Natalie called out.

Natalie changed into her slippers and said, "Dad, have you had breakfast?"

James nodded, "I went out for some eggs and toast this morning."

Natalie sat down next to him. "What did you want to talk to me about last night?"

James shifted his gaze. "Natalie, I want to go see the sea tomorrow. Can you come with me?"

Natalie agreed at once. "Okay."

James breathed a sigh of relief.

"Dad, why'd you suddenly want to go see the sea?"

Natalie asked casually.

James' lips moved, but no sound was uttered.

After a while, he looked into Natalie's eyes. "Natalie, I have something to ask you."

It was rare for James to look so serious, so Natalie was a little taken aback.

"Go ahead."

"If you had the chance to see Queenie, would you apologize to her?"
