Danny and Jerry, the twins, Mr. Gabriel and Mr. Robert were all seated in the living room, waiting for them. They had heard the commotion outside earlier , and had been wondering what happened.

“Madison!!” Ethan exclaimed, “darling, what happened to you????” he asked as he rushed and took her in his arms, away from her mother.

“Actually, I think this looks suits her very much. There’s something about the mascara that brings out the true evil in her eyes” Danny muttered dryly while popping the bubble gum in her mouth.

Her twin, Jerry snickered conspiratorially beside her.

“You shut the hell up, Danny! What happened to you, honey?” He cooed at his wife.

“It was...I was..I just went to the store today to get some nice jewelry. I didn’t do anything wrong. A...and then...the storekeeper and her manager started calling me all sort of horrible names, saying that I snatched someone’s husband, a...and that... and that I’m an adulteress!” she finished, breaking into a fresh round of tears.

“Bastards...” He muttered under his breath as he took her in his arms again and tried to placate her.

Danny and Jerry burst into laughter, while grandfather smiled and Mr. Gabriel tried to suppress his laughter.

“Why the hell are you guys laughing? My wife was insulted for no reason and all you can do is laugh?”

“Well what do you want us to do?cry with her?” Jerry asked as she tried to stop herself from laughing, “They only told her the truth about her sorry life there! I didn’t think the news would spread that fast!!!”

“Damn you Jerry! Damn you to hell!” he

turned to his wife and mother-in-law, “should we tell the police?”

“I think we should!” Laura cried, “this is a clear case of assault. They shouldn’t go scot-free for hurting my daughter’s emotions for no reason”�

“Well would you look at that? I didn’t know Madison had emotions! I didn’t even know you knew the meaning of Danny” Song said, bursting into another round of laughter with her twin.

“Why bother involving the police, Ethan? It’s just a waste of time and resources. They wouldn’t spare this case of yours two glances” grandfather chipped in.

“Yes” Mr. Robert continued, “your darling wife should have thought about the consequences of her actions before stealing someone else’s husband. This is your karma facing you son, so deal with it like a man!”

“Are you sure he still knows what being a man is daddy Mr. Robert? Cuz at this rate, all I see is a little boy robot under a remote control!” Jerry said and laughed again with her twin.

“You know what.....fuck you all! I don’t need any of you! I don’t need any of your pity or empathy! You can all go to hell for all I care!”

“Oh yeah, and what are you going to do, son?” Mr. Robert asked.
