“Hello, Ninian?”

“Mel, what‘s wrong?” Ninian curiously asked.

“Yes,” Melody said. “Luckily you called in time, or else, I wouldn‘t know how to excuse myself.” 

As she spoke, she sounded slightly frightened as if she was not used to such situations.

Ninian could not help but giggle. Did she… just meet her in–laws?

Ninian had seen Brooklyn‘s gaze when he looked at Melody. But Melody was innocent and obsessed with her career, so she never thought about it in depth. Now that she was in his house, it seemed that she would have some good news soon.

Ninian felt happy for her sister as she chuckled.

“Haha! I really can‘t hide anything from you,” Ninian said cheekily. “Some time ago, I asked you to help me look for a doctor, right? I was just wondering if you‘ve received any news from when you investigated Everett at that time.”

She had no plans of looking into Everett’s privacy at first, but as she got to know him, she sensed Everett’s unstable emotions greatly.
