Half an hour later, she came up with breakfast on a tray and forced me to eat. Taking a bite of my toast, I saw my mom poke her head in through my door. "I am hosting another dinner party tonight and I am inviting Jay along with your dad and mom Callie and yourself of course."

Hearing his name from my mother's mouth, I lost it and started crying. Perplexed by my behavior she asked Callie what was wrong with me and Callie told her I was PMSing. I wanted to laugh, but the hurt and the pain that was stabbing at my heart were more dominant than the laughter that was threatening to erupt. Accepting Callie's answer, she told me I would be fine and the feeling would pass before she left and closed the door behind her. Pushing the plate with the food away, I lay beside Callie. With my back turned to her, I started to silently cry. She must have a sense that I was still crying as she started playing in my hair. Relaxing, I close my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

"Relax Chrissy, just stay far away from him as possible and you will be okay." Looking at her in the mirror as she was curling my hair, I nodded my head at her. Feeling a slap on my shoulder, I saw Callie looking at me intently before telling me not to move. Offering her a smile before rolling my eyes, I waited until she was finished before I got up and went to put on my heels. Dressed in a peach strapless knee-length dress with black pumps while Callie was decked out in her sky-blue dress with white heels. We looked at each other over, gave thumbs-up, and giggled at our silliness before we made our way downstairs.

Everyone was already seated and only two seats were available, one beside Jay and one beside Callie's dad. I made my way over to the chair where Callie's dad is and was suddenly bounced away by Cassie who smirked at me before sitting down beside her dad. I wanted to flip her the bird but I changed my mind when I remembered that our parents were at the table. Going to sit beside Jay, I could feel the tension between us rolling off of us like waves before crashing into each other making it stronger.

The adults were talking while Cassie and I were staring at each other, she with a smile on her face while I was shooting daggers at her. I was about to take a bite out of my steak when I felt his hands on me. I could feel my body heating up the moment his hand made contact with my skin. It felt like everything melted away, the anger, the hurt, and the pain. Moving his hand up further, I felt him shift my panties aside and begin to rub my clit. It was like the first time, and I felt the same way I felt then––happy. Rubbing my clit hard and fast, I bit down on my lip while staring at Callie intently. Accidentally dropping her napkin, she went down under the table and came up with a gasp before flashing me a knowing smirk.

Looking away, I could hardly hear what the adults were talking about but I knew they were talking about me going away.
