"Was he...mute?" Arabella wondered.

Though she thought the man was weird, she stopped looking at him and began to focus on the 12,800 herbs.

Talents had to work hard if they were to succeed. After all, there was no royal road to knowledge.

Arabella started to memorize the names of the herbs. However, she was so exhausted that she fell asleep after sitting on a chair for a while.

The drug house turned quiet.

The man who had just slept on the table suddenly woke. He opened his eyes and then began to read a medical book.

One of his men in black came in and said, "Mr. Tyrone, please enjoy the midnight snacks."

The guy respectfully offered the man...a cup of instant noodles.

The man didn't raise his head but answered lightly, "Thanks. You're dismissed."

"Mr. Tyrone, there are many wonderful dishes here. Though they cannot rival those from Faykarta, they are better than instant noodles. If your mother learns it, she will worry about your health. Moreover, you've returned to the country for several days. I think you should...go home now." The guy observed the man's expressions carefully.

The man was still reading the book. "Leave me alone!"

As soon as he finished, the guy left without hesitation.

The man flipped through the medical book. Maybe because he believed it was too boring, he threw it away, stood up, and came to Arabella.

The girl wore a veil and fell asleep because she was too tired. Her long black hair was scattered around her cheeks, making her so pretty.

"Mr. Lucero, you...are so imaginative. I'm at the Institute. I'm so tired and just had a nap. Anything wrong?"

She imitated the way he talked and looked so cute.

Kenneth curled his lips and asked in a deep voice, "Would you like me to pick you up?"

"Nope. Just leave me alone. You should have learnt the news that I'm gonna take Ms. Roth's exam three days later. Everyone believes I will fail. I'm working hard to memorize the names of the herbs and impress them by passing it."

Kenneth let her go and then changed the topic. "Did you meet some handsome guys? I hear that there are many good-looking guys in the institute..."

Arabella thought Kenneth was bossy. Moreover, he had a strong desire to control her.

She repeated that she would avenge herself and thus he gave her freedom to do so. However, he was so strict with her when it came to making friends with other boys.
