Chapter 471
Kenneth thought this must be the happiest moment of his life. He reached out to pick a red rose and tucked it into the hair above her ear.
Arabella was very cooperative and obedient. She even used a clip to fix the rose next to her fair ear and then asked, "Mr. Lucero, am I beautiful?"
Looking at her beautiful face, Kenneth wished so much to engrave her current appearance in his mind forever. He replied, "Yep, so beautiful."
"Then do you like how I look?"
"Yes."
Arabella laughed foolishly, put her hand to her mouth, and shouted toward the blue sea, "Kenneth Lucero, I love you!"
Kenneth's heart pounded heavily. Looking at the beautiful, slender girl beside him, he felt as if he was about to melt in her scorching love.
"Kenneth Lucero, I love you very very much!"
Arabella shouted again.
Kenneth reached out, wanting to grab her.
But Arabella let out a screamed and slipped away from his grasp like a flexible snake. Holding the rose bouquet, she ran several steps away and then stopped, smiling brightly at Kenneth and saying, "Kenneth, wait for me. I must get you. I, Arabella Snyder, must make you my man!"
Kenneth's Adam's apple bobbed up and down and he strode forward to catch her.
"Oh!" Arabella exclaimed.
Startled, she quickly ran away. The two of them played along the beach, leaving behind a trail of laughter and joy.
Realizing that Arabella was very proactive tonight, Kenneth knew he couldn't leave tonight. He lifted the quilt and lay down beside her.
Then he reached his muscular arm toward her and confined her slender, soft body in his arms before closing his eyes.
"Mr. Lucero, can you fall asleep tonight?"
"Probably."
Kenneth couldn't fall asleep, but he didn't move a bit because he was afraid of wakening up the weak woman in his arms. After a long while, when Arabella's breath became shallow and long, Kenneth turned to one side and pulled open the drawer of the bedside table out of habit.
He would put his sleeping pills in this drawer before.
However, there was nothing inside it now.
He froze for a moment. Right at this moment, Arabella reached her arms toward him to embrace him. The kitten-like soft girl opened her eyes and fixed her watery eyes on him, saying, "Mr. Lucero, you can't fall asleep? Then how about doing some entertaining activities with me?"
