Liliana had been full of anticipation just now when he rubbed her hair. It was a small gesture that boys often used to dote on girls. In such a good atmosphere on her birthday, she thought he would hug her or kiss her next, but there was nothing. It seemed like he just wanted to simply rub her long hair. 

Kenneth withdrew his hand. "Liliana, I have another appointment later. I have to go."

Was he actually leaving? 

"Ken, you just arrived. Are you leaving so soon?" Liliana felt a bit unhappy and a little disappointed. 

But Kenneth was not affected by her emotions. He didn't even look at her. Instead, he lowered his head and looked at Rylie by his feet. "Rylie, let's go."

Rylie raised both paws in agreement. Okay, my master, let's go!

Kenneth turned and left with Rylie.

Ernesto took out his phone and pinched the slender waist of the young model Susan. "I'm going to call that little clown from the Snyder family right now. Don't make a sound, okay? After the ringtone played once, the call was calmly answered on the other end. A clear and soft voice came through, "Hello, who is this?"
