When he stared at her, the passion in his narrow eyes almost set her on fire, so she buried her red face in his arms.

When he lowered his head to kiss her red lips again, she turned her face aside with a smile because her mouth was numb.

Kenneth lay down on the bed and looked at the delicate crystal chandelier above his head. Then, he raised his hand to cover his scarlet eyes, tucked her in, and said, "Good night."
