Chapter 13 

To Henry, Madeline’s appearance was too sudden. It was as if a stranger appeared in his house one day. 

His parents said that she was his real younger sister. 

Meanwhile, Winslet, who had been loved dearly for 18 years, cried burkets every day.

He looked at the cars in front of the race track, among which his car was in the middle.

“That’s impossible.” Henry scoffed. His face then darkened. “However, if anything happens to her, you’ll all get it from met

A sound rang out 

The six cars shot out from the starting line.

“Shit, I thought that person couldn’t drive! How is she so good?” he thought

Henry was shocked once again. “Who is it this time? 

Ella frowned and replied, “It’s not Madeline” 

Henry heaved a sigh of relief. “That’s strange,” he thought. “I didn’t care about Madeline before

Next came a sharp bend. 

Ten minutes passed 

Madeline steadily brought the car to a stop. 

Everyone else’s car encountered issues. 

Even the ambulance came 

Madeline opened the door to the passenger seat and said, “Get in.” 

Henry got in. “You…” he started. 

Madeline drove home indifferently, her expression even colder than the air conditioner blowing in the car. 

This trip wasn’t a waste. Not only did she get back at these jerks, but she even made 100 thousand dollar. 

For her, this was truly a lifesaving amount of money. 

The car stopped 

Henry chased after Madeline and grabbed her wrist. “Madeline, what’s going on?” he asked

“You say one thing, but your actions mean otherwise. Alexander shook his head and walked toward the crowd. 

The van voon rose. 

Madeline was still asleep in the late morning as she only fell asleep past midnight. 

Layla, who was at the dining table, couldn’t help but scold, “What is this attitude of Madeline’s Doing as she pleases, waking up whenever she wants. Anne sighed silently and responded, “Yes.”

Winslet had taken Layla’s words as a joke. She didn’t expect Henry to defend Madeline. 

She felt a little jealous. “Henry, you don’t have to cover up for her. You usually don’t bother with Maddie at all. How could you ask her to drive you? Besides, it hasn’t been long since Maddie returned from the countryside. She doesn’t know how to drive.” 

She wrinkled her nose on purpose, attempting to appear cute. “You dote on Maddie too much. I’m going to get jealous.” 

Layla rolled her eyes and added, “That’s right. You own a car dealership. Why would you need her to drive? Can none of your subordinates give you a lift? Anne, go. Quick” 

Henry suddenly fell silent. 

It wasn’t clear what he was thinking, but he looked gloomy. 

Layla smiled and said, “By the way, Henry, I have something to discuss with you.” 

Henry looked up at Layla. 

“Winnie is going to study at an elite university. Although it’s also in the provincial capital, the distance from home to that school is still quite far. Henry looked at Winslet, who was smiling sweetly at him. “Winslet, go to the car dealership and choose a car you like. I’ll give it to you.” 

Overjoyed, Winslet asked, “Really?” 

Just then, Madeline walked down the stairs reluctantly.

Winslet deliberately announced, “Maddie, I have some good news. I’m going to Acocester University next month, so Henry and Mom gave me a luxury cart Maddie, you don’t have a driver’s license. I’ll take you and my friends out for a ride once we buy the car. 

Layla smiled awkwardly. “Why would you take her? Don’t embarrass yourself in front of your friends.”
