In the two seconds the lightning descended but before it pierced through his Golden Light Barrier, Whistler swiftly utilized his array to influence the trajectory of the lightning. Inspired by Clint's insights, he attempted to divert the lightning’s path.

“Fool,” he sneered. “You’re still too young. This barrier will continuously drain your true energy. Go ahead. Let’s see how long you can last.”

The two found themselves locked in a stalemate.

“Just a little more… Just a little more!” Whistler gritted his teeth, forcing himself to pour more true energy into expanding his barrier.

Yellowhorn also simply allowed Whistler to continue when suddenly, he sensed something amiss.

Clint picked up two fallen leaves from the ground. “If we compare the leaves to the arrays…” He then picked up two small stones. “And the stones the people maintaining the array, typically, they would be standing on the array.”

He then placed the stones on top of the leaves. Picking up another stone, he said, "But the Heavenly Thunder Array actually works like this…” He pierced the leaves with the stones, then placed the stones and leaves on the same level.

“This means that the arrays and the people maintaining them become one. The arrays become alive, and in turn, the people become part of the arrays.

“This gives us a way to break them. If you treat the arrays as people, you can crack them.”

“Treat an array… as a person?” Whistler pondered.

Clint nodded. “Exactly. Don’t get caught up in the differences in form. You can just treat the array as a person. All the skills used in the Heavenly Thunder Array share a common characteristic—the invisible elements they employ can be regarded as life. That’s why their spells are so bizarre. Do you understand?”
