“Huh? What?” Hera looked puzzled.

“I have so many other women. Do you feel uneasy about it?”

“No, I just—” Nash tried to explain, but Hera interrupted him.

As the red cloth was lifted, the exhibit came into view. With the light from the display case reflecting off the dark material, the intricately carved insects appeared as if they were alive and writhing.

In a somewhat secluded position sat an elderly man with white hair. He was dressed neatly, but he had a frightening scar running across the right side of his face over one eye, which was completely blind.

Although the front of his face appeared sharp and capable, Nash noticed several blemishes on his neck that looked like scars from past injuries or infections.
