Ever since the fall of the Voodoo Parasite King, the West District of the Southern Territory seemed to have found some semblance of peace.

Goldspin Commerce was originally a small overseas business association. For some unknown reason, however, it suddenly rose to prominence.

"A sudden rise?" Nash asked Theo.

Theo pulled out some documents and explained, "Yes, they experienced a sudden and rapid growth—the kind that's almost insane. Their commerce group practically replaced Dominion Commerce, which belonged to the Florentine family."

"I remember," Nash said. "Clint once mentioned that Dominion Commerce was absorbed by them, right?"

"That's correct. Nowadays, Dominion Commerce is in the hands of the Meltons. But truth be told, the Meltons don't really care much about Dominion Commerce. As a result, Dominion Commerce is now pretty much a shell of what they used to be. They don't really exist in any meaningful form anymore."

"And the people from the commerce group?"

"Mr. Reggie Melton has mostly called them over to his own company. The commerce group is still running, and because of the Meltons' interference, their financial chain has actually become more stable.

"However, as mentioned earlier, they've essentially been reduced to a subsidiary of the Meltons. They have no real influence left."

"So, all the industries that originally belonged to Dominion Commerce were just handed over to Goldspin Commerce?"

"Well, you can't really blame Mr. Melton for that. The way I see it, the business that the Meltons handle isn't suitable for the commerce group's model. So, Mr. Melton probably made that decision to maintain stability. He ended up outsourcing most of their industries."

"Outsourcing?"

"Yes, they essentially divided Dominion Commerce's main industries into smaller branches and then outsourced these businesses to companies willing to take them on. That's how commercial outsourcing works.

"Goldspin Commerce took over the most profitable part of Dominion Commerce's overseas import sector."

There were no significant interests between their group and businesses like the Lewis family.

Nash gazed out the window, lost in thought. "Who knows? I just feel like helping them out for some reason. Maybe it's just that I can't help but meddle in these things."

It was true. Nash had no real reason to come here. His actions in Shealor had made him a well-known figure in the area, and because of that, he had avoided returning.

Yet something was pulling him in this direction—his inner demons, or perhaps something like them. It felt as though the voice in his heart was guiding him.
