Nash drove to the airport to pick her up himself. 

Hera’s phone kept ringing in the car Some were congratulatory calls

When they met Eva, the introductions were quick. Hera and Eva

“So, Ms. Lewis, what title and pay are you thinking to assign me?” Eva 

asked with a sly smile. 

“You’ll be the deputy CEO with a million-dollar salary and a 2% stake 

in the company!” Hera had it all planned out. 

“The salary’s good, just like at the Great Eastern Tower. Let’s skip the shares for now. We can talk about that after I do a great job!” Eva

outside Innovate Collective. He wanted to help Eva get settled, but

Hera quickly called a meeting with the top executives to share some 

big news-Eva was going to be the new deputy CEO of Innovate 

Collective. At the meeting, Eva was amazing. She made big promises 

about leading the team to earn more bonuses. 

Nash started to wonder if he had a knack for judging people. When 

the meeting was over, Eva and Hera did not rush off. They were so 

happy talking about work in the office that they didn’t want to leave. 

Just then, Nash got a call from Derek. Derek sounded really worried. 

Mr. Nash… we’re in trouble. You have to come help us!” 

Nash looked serious. “Where are you?” 

“Artful Prosperity Auction House!” 

“Okay, I’m on my way!” Nash said goodbye to Hera and drove off to 

the Artful Prosperity Auction House. It was a place he knew well from 

a previous auction.

Trevor sat back, laughing. “Go on, tell me about your grandpa. I’m 

dying to know if he’s scary enough to frighten me!”
