“I’ll give you a prescription. For the next month, refrain from using your hand until it is completely healed.” 

Nash took out his phone to note down the prescription. Suddenly, Isadora leaned in close to Nash, a fragrant breeze enveloping him. Nash instinctively backed away, raising his gaze to this exquisite face before him. 

He saw her blinking her clear eyes at him as she held out her phone with a QR code on display. “Mr. Calcraft, take my number. You can send the prescription to my phone!” 

“My contacts are full,” Nash decisively refused. 

Isadora smirked. “I’ll offer you 200 million to buy your friendship!” 

Nash’s brows furrowed slightly. “Hmph, do you really think money can buy anything?” 

“500 million.” 

“You can keep trying, but I don’t have the habit of saving numbers.” 

“A billion.” 

Nash brought up his own code. Isadora raised a brow and scanned it, saving his number. There was indeed nothing that money could not solve. If anything, there was so much more that could be spent. 

Nash tapped away at his phone screen, calmly jotting down dozens of medicinal herbs and their respective quantities. When he received the notification of the money being transferred on his screen, Nash immediately sent the prescription to Isadora. 

“Rest well. Goodbye!” 

Nash pocketed his phone and turned to leave. 

Isadora’s bright eyes followed Nash’s departing figure, a smirk playing on her lips. “What an interesting man.”

“Mr. Calcraft, Melody is missing!” Tina’s voice sounded frantic over the phone. 

Nash’s expression darkened. “What happened?” 

“I don’t know either. Before Melody went missing, people from the Eve family came. They advised Melody to stop, warning her that she would bear the consequences. I suspect they’re the ones who took her.” Tina’s voice trembled as she spoke, tears evident in her tone. 

“How long has it been?” Nash asked. His own voice was already trembling. 

“About an hour or so.” 

“I got it.” He ended the call and instantly, broke through the ninth–floor wall, and soared into the sky.
