"It’s probably real. This is a separate space," Nash replied, chewing on the wolf meat and crossing his legs.

"A world created by an illusion array wouldn't have living creatures, but this deserted island has wolves on it, and the sea has fish. These are real, flesh-and-blood creatures."

"Then, do you think the world outside is real?" Lana asked again.

Nash was taken aback by her question. The outside world was, of course, real, but there seemed to be a deeper implication to her question. If this world was created by an immortal, then what about the world outside?

Lana gazed into Nash's deep eyes. After a moment of silence, she slowly walked toward the White Wolf King. Nash gripped his spear and followed closely beside her.

The White Wolf King's eyes glowed green with disdain. It lifted its head and let out a howl.

In an instant, the dozen or so white wolves around it crouched low, bared their teeth, and prepared to pounce.
