"Oh? What insights do you have, Master Calcraft?" Battlestar asked.

Nash stepped forward and said, "We should attend this conference, but we mustn't let them lead us by the nose."

"And how do we do that?" Battlestar prompted.

"Disperse our forces. He said some things that piqued my curiosity, so they likely have some aces up their sleeves. We can select a few people to attend the summit just to keep them in check."

Clint interjected, "But don't forget the possibility of a traitor among us. My divination suggests the traitor is among the five who are unreachable. What if they notice discrepancies in our numbers or information?"

"The military's information system is not something they can crack," Nash said firmly. "The fact that they didn't manage to annihilate us completely is proof enough.

"We're operating in the shadows, and it's a disadvantage for them. So, they can only try to bring this organization into the open. At least, for now, that's the case.

"The Illuminion's people are a mixed bag. So, if it really is a fair duel, both sides would suffer significant losses. It's not a risk they're willing to take."

Having calmed down by now, Oswald asked, "Then why did they declare war on us?"

"That's the point of my suspicion. It's such a high-risk, low-reward move. What could be their true purpose?" Clint said.

"We'll find out when we attend the conference," Nash replied.

In truth, Nash had his own motives for stepping forward. He had confirmed his family's safety on the way here, but his repeated attempts to contact Philix had failed.

After hearing the message the Illuminion member left, he feared something might have happened to Philix. He could not take the risk to see if the Illuminion's threats were just empty words.

After some discussion, the group decided to split into three teams—one to attend the conference, another to investigate the traitor, and the last group to evade pursuit and ensure their safety.

"I can disguise myself and attend the conference," Nash said.

"Forget it. You're not up to it. I'll go instead," Clint mocked.

"Alright, you seven, join the two young sirs in attending the Summit of Ten Thousand Dynasties."

He then called out another seven names to investigate the traitor.

"Wait!" Oswald shouted. "Why wasn't my name called out?!"

"Xealoth, I know you're eager for revenge, but now is not the time. Follow the plan."

"But… I—"

"Oswald, don't worry," Clint said, patting his shoulder. "I'll make sure to take care of them for both you and Landrich."

Hearing this, Oswald could only relent. He just said, "Please, I leave it to you."

After that, the others also left, leaving only Zaafea and the three leaders.
