The corner of Nash’s lips curled upward slightly when he noticed the girl had decided to follow him.

“Hey! I already told you that we saw that first!”

Things on Sven’s side were not looking so great.

The three men standing before him were gazing hungrily at the fish he had caught.

Sven had already guessed that this would happen. The nature of this game was no different from the survival shows he watched on television. There were two ways of ensuring survival when in situations like these without access to resources.

You either had to have excellent survival skills and be able to protect yourself, or be like the three in front, who had decided to form a tiny gang of their own. Sven was an expert, and those three were no army. They were just a mishmash group that had been formed haphazardly. It would be easy to defeat them.

Sven threw a punch at each of them and easily overpowered them. The three ran helter-skelter in different directions.

After chasing them away, Sven found a semi-open air cave near the shoreline that would function as his home for the next 30 days if nothing went wrong. Then, he used a sharp rock to make a mark on the cave wall.

The God of Equilibrium had truly taken the concept of fairness to another level. All of his supplies had disappeared, and only the clothes on his back remained. Even the pocket watch he kept hidden beneath his clothes had vanished as well.

There was nothing else Sven could do about the situation, and he could only pray that the 30 days went by quickly.

He had managed to catch some fish using the fishing rod he made, but he could not eat them raw. Lighting a fire had become the number one task on his list.

It was not only Drakonia’s martial artists who were against the gods of the West's awakening. There were other regions in the know as well, and similarly, there were individuals who voiced their objections.

They had joined forces with the country to create a task force specially for this matter, and the Savior Project was a local organization opposing what the Illuminion preached. They were in close, frequent contact with the Illuminion. Thus, they even knew things not made privy to the public.

However, the Illuminion also knew the importance of spreading their gospel, and their power had seeped into the borders of every country in the world. Every country and region either had a sub-branch of the Illuminion or an organization that worked with them.

The Savior Project had the added burden of defeating the Illuminion on the homefront. However, at the moment, they did not yet have sufficient manpower to fully defeat the Illuminion.

The prince gazed at the bishop standing before him intently.

“If you can’t give us an answer we’re satisfied with, how are we going to be able to trust you and work alongside you on this?”

The bishop lowered his head in thought briefly before he looked up and said confidently, “The Savior Project will be executed with perfection!”

“Oh? How can you guarantee that?” the Grim Reaper asked.

“I can guarantee that because we have already found a candidate to take on the code name King. The prophecy states that once the King is born, the Queen will also be born shortly after. Thus, as long as I can find one of the two, I can assure you with full confidence that the Savior Project can be executed in full perfection!”

Both were stunned by what the bishop said. However, they also immediately noticed the factor of uncertainty in his speech.

“Are they still merely a ‘candidate’?” the prince asked. “Can you be sure that he'll awaken soon?”

“Yes, I can!”
