"I knew it wouldn't be that easy!" Lana unleashed her celestial power once more, but being an awakened deity, Skye effortlessly shattered her power with a casual punch. Blood spewed from Lana's mouth as she collapsed to the ground.

Ryan did not dare stop and immediately rushed to Skye's feet. He roared as he struck Skye continuously with the god-slaying sword, dashing back and forth with ghostly agility.

Finally, Skye halted and looked down at Ryan beneath him. With a swift motion, he swatted at Ryan as if swatting a mosquito.

The impact leveled the entire section of the forest, the divine power scorching the land and leaving it desolate. Only broken stones and splintered wood remained. Amid the smoke, Deluca pulled Ryan to safety.

"Are you alright, Mr. Ryan?" Deluca asked Ryan, concern etched on his face.

Ryan wiped the sweat from his brow. "I'm fine, and just call me by my name."

Skye's gaze was fixed on Deluca, who was flying about him. He looked as if he were watching an annoying insect. He spread his hands, seemingly about to crush them.

Skye reached out to attack the two of them.

"Deluca, quick!" Ryan shouted, but Skye's massive hands had already encircled them, blocking out the sky with its sheer size. The hands began closing in, and despite Deluca's desperate efforts, escaping seemed unlikely.

As their vision darkened and fear started to grip their hearts, a sudden roar rang out. With a loud noise, Skye's right hand was blasted open and the two of them immediately flew out from Skye's palms.

"Thanks, Benedict!" Ryan yelled in relief.

Benedict glanced at Skye's hand, and indeed, there was a glowing blue spot on the side of his arm. Without a second thought, Benedict started running again.

"Father, please! Give me more strength!"

From Benedict's waist, a flying sword unsheathed and circled around him. Benedict leaped onto the sword and sped toward the light portal.

"Burn! Quickly! Almost there!"

Benedict's clothes began to catch fire from his rapidly increasing speed.
