“What I’m trying to get at is it would be a good idea for you to disappear for a little while. What’s important now is that we get them to reveal their plans. Then, we'll get several capable and trustworthy people to collect evidence of them plotting to wrestle control over the Northern Territory.”

“I know you’re worried, Master Nash, but don’t worry. As I mentioned, what they seek is approval, so they won’t use any overly dramatic methods. You’re under a lot of stress, but so are they.

Nash drew in a deep breath, the corners of his lips curving slightly upward as he looked around him.

“If that’s the case, let’s give them that opportunity they’re looking for and have the lion pretend to fall asleep.”

“Where should I go?” Nash asked.

“How does the Land of Nion sound?”

“Why that place?”
