Alfius stopped talking.
"What's wrong?" Tilly asked.
"Nothing. Master Topper didn't tell me how to pull out the demon sword, Rain of the Village. He just told me to wait..." Alfius replied.
"I see. So, what are you planning to do now? Just so you know, if you're planning something suicidal, I'll stop you. And I'll punish you by making you watch me eat. Yes, that's it," Tilly teased.
Alfius looked at his sword.
"I need to find a proper place to bury my master and my fellow disciples," he said.
"Alright then. Let's go," Tilly said, pulling Alfius to his feet.
The two returned to the battlefield that was littered with the bodies of those from the swordsman association.
…
Back at the Lewis Estate, Theo shouted over the phone, "What?! Nash, you're going to the Land of Nion?"
"Man, you’re hurting my ears," Nash complained.
"Nash, if you just want to get away, there's no need to go abroad. What's so good about the Nihons? Is it just because they’re professionals?"
"Jeez, what are you thinking?" Nash retorted. "I have a mission, a mission! What's going on in that head of yours?"
"Oh, a mission! Haha." Theo laughed awkwardly. "I thought—"
"Thought what?" Nash asked coldly.
"Ah, nothing. It's nothing. So, when are you planning to go? I'll arrange it for you," Theo said, trying to change the subject.
"As soon as possible, within the next two days."
"Got it. Just wait," Theo assured him.
Nash hung up and then called Mosley.
"Oh? Who’s troubling our Mr. Skye now?" Hera asked.
Theo's eyes narrowed, and he feigned sadness. "Oh, Hera, you have to help me out. It's one of our overseas branches. Everything was fine, but our business was doing too well and hindering the locals from making a profit.
"They started retaliating, and our manager over there is a pushover. He's letting them bully him without saying a word. I only found out because I checked the overseas shipment records and noticed something wrong.
"The locals began maliciously undercutting prices and stirring up trouble with our branch’s staff. It’s been a nightmare for us."
"Really? Such a thing is happening?!" Nash slammed down his cutlery, feigning great anger.
Hearing this, Theo looked even more pitiful. "Yes, we don't have a choice. We're unfamiliar with the area, and I can't just ignore it. Things had always been running smoothly until those guys started causing problems.
"I figured sending more managers wouldn't be as effective as having you go over there to set things straight, Nash. So, I'm here to ask for your help. I hope you guys will support me."
Hera nodded and said, "There's no need to ask. We're family. Of course, we'll help."
"Absolutely!" Harrison agreed, walking over.
