Nash was confused, but he recalled Mosley saying before that the person who posted the assignment was likely Tomaz's daughter. Since he could not contact his daughter anymore, he obviously understood what had happened.

He did not intend to pity these guys and simply threw their bodies down from an altitude of 10,000 meters. The plane continued its trajectory. What Nash did not expect, however, was for the enemy to actually catch up again.

Recalling how the true energy in the Shura Sky-Piercing Spear had been exhausted and that a passenger plane was not as fast as a fighter plane, Nash knew then that it was certain they would catch up eventually.

Just when Nash was about to make a desperate move, a volley of missiles shot past him from behind.

Nash turned his head to look. “It’s the Divine Strategy Squadron!”

Benedict landed on the passenger plane then. “That’s right! We are here to escort you back.”

“Thank you for your help, Benedict.”

“Let’s save the thanks for later. They're coming!”

In an alternate space, Mosley had once again been crushed.

The two elders had realized that Mosley's body was not self-healing and that the broken parts needed to be pieced together to be whole again. Hence, they cut him in half.

Mosley summoned a demon, and it rushed toward the two elders frantically to try and take back half of his body amid the chaos. However, its efforts were useless. The two elders were in perfect sync, which left no opening for it to take advantage of.

The demon did not return with Mosley's body this time, and the elders laughed.

“This is what you get for going against us. You can't use your power anymore,” the green-masked elder taunted. "You outlaw! This is where you'll die."

Then, the purple-masked elder stood up and released his control over the space.

In both their eyes, the winner had been decided!

"This is impossible!" The green-masked elder looked at Patricia in confusion.

"Where did you come from?"

Mosley mocked them, "You're stupid! You've been fooled! Did you really think that I wouldn't be able to reel the demon back in? I just didn't want to.”

The green-masked elder realized what happened then. Patricia had the ability to attach herself to the shadows and take out her targets silently. Mosley's demon had swallowed her into its stomach, and when it was defeated, she attached herself to its wrecked form.

They had waited for the purple-masked elder to relax his guard before launching a sneak attack.

"You! You bastards!" The green-masked elder took off his mask. Then, an extremely terrifying power erupted from his body, devouring the purple-masked elder.

Mosley remembered seeing this power before. "It's that potion! You! You actually defected to the Illuminion!" he roared.

"Everything is a necessary sacrifice for the greater good.”
