Nicole turned the system off shortly after while issuing a heavy sigh.

Right now, she was overwhelmed with mixed emotions.

'I could never have thought that Lawrence would lie to me. Why did he do so? Moreover, the Fire Crest would've recognized me as its sole owner anyway.
