The old lady stared at him. "To be honest, the reason I wanted you to go to the monastery with me is to get a card reading as well. I wanted to see how's the reading for your romance."

"If that's the case, I definitely won't go." John smiled. "If I ended up like Dylan, I might stop eating for two days when I get home."

She laughed jovially. "Oh, it's hard to tell that you care about these superstitions. I thought that you wouldn't care no matter how the reading turns out.'

She went to the sofa and took a seat with her legs crossed. "l really had too much to drink last night and I lost consciousness the moment I left the room at the bar. I don't even know if I made a scene there. It is so frustrating!'
