Night Rider MC novel Chapter 48

I got up the next morning. I took some aspirin dressed and walked out the door. I got on my bike and rode to the bank. I took out $1,000 and put it in my pocket.

I started the bike and rode out on to the road. I just road around and once hit a town, I would get a room, find a bar and get drunk. Then the next morning I did the same thing.

I was on the road when Black Eagle and Star returned to the club house. We walked in and noticed the change in the atmosphere.

I asked where Rebel was and a member told me what happened. Rebel has gone off grid for awhile. She has been gone for a month now.

I know Rebel like the back of my hand. She will come back when she is good and ready. And when she does, Scar will not exist for her. Rebel will be back to her old self.

I noticed that Scar is back to his old self as well. I knew that he was hurting. What he doesn't know is that he is going to hurt a whole lot more when Rebel comes home.

I also know she thinks that Scar continued to sleep with Megan that is was because of her scar. I see how some of the members look at her and her scar.

They have no room to talk. Many of them of scars. They don't like how they are sometimes looked at. It hurts. Well Rebel is no different.

I just hope she does not run into Rage. He almost killed her the last time. I looked up to see Rebel walk into the room. She was holding her jacket against her side.

We all watched as she grabbed a beer and walked over to our table and sat down. I noticed she was sweating. She didn't even look at Scar's table.

"Scar are you alright?"

"I couldn't be better."

I know something is wrong.

"Rebel, what are you hiding from me?"

"Nothing, she said as she finished her beer."

"I just need to see the doctor."

As Rebel stood up I saw the blood on the front of her shirt."

"Rebel what happened?"

"Rage, happened."

As I turned to walk away everything went black. I didn't feel Beast lift me in his arms and carry me down the hall to the doctors office.

I looked over and saw Rebel start to fall. I watched as Beast lifted her into his arms and carry her down the hall. But, I did notice the front of her covered in blood.

"Lay her on the bed Beast and get out."

I removed her jacket and found Rebel had more than blood on her stomach. As I cut the shirt off her and rolled her over I gasped.

"Rebel what the hell happend to you?"

"Rage, happened to me."

I washed her back and put cream on the belt marks. I then stitched her stomach as she had been stabbed. Next I removed her jeans and saw the blood on her thighs.

"Rebel, did he rape you?"

"What do you think doctor?"

I washed the blood from her thighs and put a gown on her. I gave her a shot to stop a possible pregnancy. And a strong antibiotic. The last thing I did was give her a pain shot.

After Rebel dosed off to sleep I walked out of the room. I walked to the table and sat down. I took a drink of my beer then looked at Black Eagle and Star.

"She was beaten with a belt, stabbed in the stomach, and raped."
