The distance was covered by Winslow in just a blink of an eye.

However, that was not because Gareth was afraid of him. He was merely showing respect for Winslow's status because, after all, Winslow was the only family Elisa had in the world.

Following closely, Elisa also walked up to Winslow. The moment she turned around, she didn't utter a single word to Gareth.

All Gareth could do was quietly watch as she walked away.

Winslow and Elisa turned and walked to their designated spots. Winslow didn't say a word. Instead, it was Elisa who seemed a bit uneasy.

She didn't know how to start the conversation.

“Uncle Winslow, I didn't specifically go looking for him.”

“You don't have to explain so much to me. Even if you really go to him, that's your prerogative. In any case, I've said all I needed to say. The decision is yours to make,” Winslow said in a calm and indifferent tone, but to Elisa, it sounded as if he was angry.
