Nicole smiled. “If so, I would have booked a private room. I didn’t have a lot of opportunities to get to know Ms. Benett before this. In fact, I quite admire her.”

Like Gareth, Nicole would eventually take over her family business, Tabor Group, which was on the same footing as Wickam Group. The way she said it made her seem superior and demeaning to Elisa.

She merely ‘admired’ Elisa. It was different from liking Elisa and wanting to be friends with her. She was not a hypocrite; she just wanted to lift Elisa up and had the authority to do that because of her background.

Elisa frowned, but Vincent snorted and continued, “That’s not all. Then, you appeared as Wisteria to spite me. Do you really want to destroy my pride?”

Nicole froze after hearing that. “Wisteria?”

Vincent huffed angrily, “Yeah! Didn’t you know? She’s Wisteria!”

Nicole looked at Gareth, only to realize he had eyes on Elisa.

She clenched her fists under the table but quickly let them go for fear of being discovered.

Elisa glanced at Vincent before saying, “Eat your food.”

“Yes, master!”

“Don’t call me that!” She frowned. Other people get assistants, but I get this annoying fellow instead!
