I was momentarily stunned. Conrad was the "jerk" Fanny was referring to, but when had I ever been involved with him?

I sent a big question mark in response, and Fanny sent back the photo I had taken, with a red circle drawn around it.

I zoomed in on the photo, and indeed, Conrad was there, looking in my direction.
