Darren's strength had improved since he had comprehended the essence of Todd's swordsmanship.

He had calculated that with his cultivation base at the upper-level of the Celestial God Realm, he might be able to contend with an opponent at the middle-level of the Superior God Realm, if he used all his strength. Of course, such an opponent would have to be an ordinary warrior at the middle-level of the Superior God Realm. Any more powerful and talented, and it would prove difficult for him to defeat such an opponent.

He already possessed incredible strength, but unfortunately, it was still far from enough for him. He was Darren, a Defiant Master, who always demanded more of himself.

"Thank you very much for your guidance, sir," Darren said, truly grateful. It was not every day that you found someone willing to share this sort of genuine understanding of swordsmanship so freely.

"You're welcome. Rest assured you may cultivate here in peace from now on. Although I may not be the number one warrior in the Chaotic Region, I promise to kill anyone who would dare break into my territory trying to harm you.

And if the other four kings come, I can help you escape as well. Do not worry about anything except your cultivation. I've got it covered."

Todd was making it clear that he would serve as Darren's right hand man from now on and no one would be able to cause him any harm here in his territory. His words and promises moved Darren. He was very thankful for his hospitality and kindness. After all, he had known Todd for only a couple months. They weren't even all that close yet.

Darren wished he could stay here to concentrate on cultivation, but he was still worried about Yolanda. She was still in great danger.

"Sir, I have some help I need to ask of you," Darren asked slowly, somewhat reluctant. He did not want to take advantage of him. But he had considered it carefully; he was afraid he would not be able to outrun or withstand the pursuit of other forces on his own and so needed to ask Todd for help.

"Go ahead," Todd replied simply, unbothered that a request would be made of him.

"I have a relative trapped in the Second Dangerous Area right now. I have to rescue her," revealed Darren.

"Darren, I'm afraid there is nothing I can do about that. It's very difficult for us deputy gods to step into the Five Dangerous Areas."

The restrictions of the Five Dangerous Areas were set specifically for deputy gods. It was because of this that almost none of the truly powerful warriors of the Chaotic Region were able to enter into it. The warriors at the Superior God Realm could enter it however, but it was extremely difficult for them to survive once they were inside.

For this reason, the Five Dangerous Areas had never been completely occupied by anyone.

The First Dangerous Area only had a blood pass guarding it, but Darren had destroyed this with the troops of the bloodsucker race. That was how the mysterious gray figure was able to enter the First Dangerous Area to hunt Darren down.

"I'm not asking you to help me rescue her, sir. I just need you to escort me to the Five Dangerous Areas, so that I can make it there without being intercepted and killed along the way."

All Darren needed was to get there. Not only was Yolanda stuck and in danger, but the Rule Soul Avatar was there as well. He had no idea whether he was alive or dead; he had to go and find out.

Todd was silent for a moment. This was no simple matter. He was a reclusive cultivator now but only by name. The other major forces all knew that he and Juan were friends, so close that they were basically like brothers. To some extent, what he did was a representation of Juan's attitude.

If he escorted Darren, the spies of the other forces would definitely find out. If they then found fault with his and Juan's actions, a war would likely break out.

Neither Todd nor Juan wanted war. After all, the human race was already at the bottom of society in the Primitive Wilderness. The more internal struggles there were, the less power they would be able to gather to combat the other races.

"Sir, I do hope you can offer me this help. I'm sorry to have to ask for more, but I am in need." Darren had no other option open to him.

Todd puffed his cheeks out as he thought it over in his mind.

"Let's do it. I will escort you there," Todd said finally, having decided to give Darren the assistance he needed. He made this decision not only because they were both from the Lothlann Continent, but also because of Darren's incredible talent. Truthfully, that in itself was worth helping him for.

"Thank you, sir. It is greatly appreciated," Darren replied, cupping his hands and bowing respectfully.

"You're welcome. Once you're there though, you must take extra care and do not lose your life on this mission."

"Worry not, sir. I will be careful."

With that, Todd packed up, bringing some necessities they might need in case of an emergency. He then took Darren and Roland to the transmission array.

Along the way, a few powerful hidden cultivators released their god's sense to probe and spy to see what they could discover about these people for themselves. When they found that there was a deputy god swordsman among them, they all hid, not daring do anything rash.

It was not long before Darren and his companions reached their destination and landed in front of the transmission array.
