"We're done here," Danielle said, stifling a laugh, casting a quick glance at David's pitiful eyes.

"Want to go play bumper cars?" she asked.

David, though he didn't get the praise he was hoping for, nodded eagerly. He grabbed her hand and led the way toward the bumper cars.

Suddenly, Danielle leaned in close to David's ear and whispered, "You're really good at taking photos. Awesome. From now on, I'm entrusting all my best shots to you." And with that, she planted a quick kiss on his cheek.

David's ears immediately turned bright red at the unexpected affection. He was caught completely off guard, and a bit shy now. "Okay," he replied, his voice a little flustered.

Oh, so now he's the shy, innocent boy, huh? Just moments ago, he was all smooth talk. Danielle couldn't help but enjoy teasing him.

Not missing a beat, she leaned in even closer, her breath soft against his ear as she teased, "Do you like it?"

David froze, his whole body going stiff. He pressed a finger to his lips and coughed awkwardly. "I do," he said, his voice barely audible.

"How much do you like it?" Danielle asked, her other hand mischievously tapping his Adam's apple.

David's blood rushed to his head, his throat tightening as he quickly grabbed her hand. His eyes sparkled with a playful yet intense gleam. "A lot. How about we test it out? Hmm?"

She grinned, feeling a thrill run through her. This man had no resistance to a little teasing. With a sly smirk, she stepped out of his grasp, spinning away. "Can't keep up, huh?"

David chuckled, his eyes full of mischief. "Well, why don't you try again and see if I'm still not up for it?"

Danielle blinked innocently, not falling for his trap. She wasn't about to walk into that one.

"You're amazing, aren't you?" she said with a teasing grin.

"No, no. It's just that... you're really tempting," he shot back, a little flustered.

She couldn't help but laugh at how playful he was, especially since he was so smooth when he wanted to be. But now, it seemed he was on the receiving end of all her playful banter.

"Alright, let's stop all this flirting. We're at an amusement park, after all," she said, trying to steer the conversation away.

David raised an eyebrow. "You don't want to play any more? We can keep going, you know. Just say the word."

"Well, fine, I'll play with you," she said with a little smirk. "Let's go."

And so they found themselves in the bumper car area, each hopping into their little cars.

"I'm a pro at this," Danielle said, gripping the wheel with determination, her car speeding off with a little squeal.

David, his long legs bent awkwardly as he sat, gave chase, his car zooming after hers.

Back in the surveillance room, the amusement park manager and staff were watching the screens in disbelief.

"Hey, when did our bumper cars start going this fast?" one staff member asked, eyes wide as he watched the cars zooming around.

He had no idea that he was witnessing a little race between David and Danielle, who were driving their bumper cars like they were in a car chase. Sparks practically flew off their cars.

"Isn't it obvious? That's the big boss. Even driving bumper cars, he makes it look like he's driving a luxury car. Too cool," one staff member muttered, giving a side glance to the manager.

"Look at them go. They've got chemistry, huh?" another staff member chimed in.

Danielle whipped her car around a corner, heading straight for David's vehicle. "Here I come!" she shouted.

Vivian, still not fully in control, hesitated. She wasn't sure if she could control both Howard and Judy at the same time.

"I'll try," she muttered, already struggling to keep her focus.

Howard, confused and alarmed by the strange behavior, remembered what Danielle had said about curses. He now realized that Vivian was under their control.

"What are you doing?" A cold shiver ran down Danielle's spine as she remembered the words Judy had used that evening, speaking of curses. They had cursed Vivian—no wonder when Howard called her, she hadn’t reacted.

"You'll find out soon enough," Ivan replied, his eyes no longer respectful, but filled with disdain.

"This is the Darling family. Whatever we do, you can't escape. You two..."

Howard's words faltered, and the next moment, his eyes glazed over, as though he were struggling to break free from some invisible hold. Clutching his head, he managed to choke out a few words, "You... you... won't... control me."

But in the end, the poison had the final say.

"You two, unbind us now," Judy ordered, her voice cold and sharp. The poison was controlling their minds now.

"Okay," the two responded in eerie unison, their movements mechanical as they began to untie Ivan and Judy.

The ropes came off, and both of them grinned in relief.

"Good thing Master wanted to curse them beforehand, or we might've really been done for," one murmured, eyeing the unresisting captives.

"What about these two?" Judy asked Ivan, her mind already plotting the next step. "What do we do now? Should we take advantage of their sleep and eliminate them all at once?"

She cast a venomous glance at Ivan. Her rage burned hot. How dare Danielle defeat her so easily? She would have her revenge—Danielle had to die.
