Ava stood to the side, waiting for Reese without approaching.

Reese raised an eyebrow. "Dr. Rivers…" She said.

Anthony looked worried. "Reese, are you all right?” He asked.

Reese nodded. "It's fine. I just got a scrape on my forehead. The doctor was afraid I'd have any after-effects so they asked me to check my chest and brain just to make sure." She said.

Anthony sighed in relief and nodded. "The doctor is right. It's better to thoroughly check in cases like this. Sometimes, aftereffects from accidents show up much later." He said.

Reese nodded. "Yes, I'll make sure to get a thorough check-up." She said.

Anthony looked at Reese as if wanting to say something more. "Well, in that case, go get your check-up done first. After that, I have something I'd like to discuss with you." He finally said.

Reese frowned. "What is it? Can't we discuss it here? It's already late, and I'm guessing it will be dark by the time my check-up is done."
