After Lukas finished speaking, he walked towards the stairwell with a stern face. 

Elena hurriedly followed behind. 

Reese and James didn’t have time to go downstairs, so the four of them ended up facing each other. 

James was laughing so hard that tears came to his eyes. 

Reese felt the air was filled with awkwardness. 

Lukas’s face showed a barely noticeable hint of embarrassment, and his handsome face darkened. 

Afraid he would lose his temper, Reese immediately pushed the blame on James. “I just got back from buying dinner for Ava. James forced me to come up.” 

She quickly added, “I didn’t hear anything.”

help it. It’s too funny.” 

Reese was speechless as she glared at the laughing idiot. Could he make his laughter any more exaggerated? 

He continued, “I mean, what kind of script is this? Talking about bed skills? Hahaha.” 

Reese’s face darkened. She had said she hadn’t heard anything, but James exposed her lie. He must have 

done it on purpose. 

Sure enough, Lukas looked directly at Reese and gritted his teeth, “Didn’t hear anything?”

Reese raised an eyebrow at her. 

Ava continued, “I heard that Lukas and James had a good relationship six years ago, but they fell out because of a woman. James also liked that woman, but unfortunately, she became Lukas’s girlfriend 

later.” 

Reese was taken aback, “Is that so? Where is that woman now?” 

Ava shook her head, “I don’t know. I overheard it from someone else, and I never thought that one day I would meet them in person.” 

Reese nodded in understanding.
