The call was picked up quickly, and a man’s rough and hoarse voice came with a flattering tone, “Well! Mrs. Doherty? Why did you call me? What can I do for you?”

Mathilda’s tone was cold, “Investigate something for me. The sooner the better.”

“Okay,” the man chuckled and said in a wretched tone, “But… You know that it’s not that easy to do that. How much will you pay for us?”

Mathilda said coldly, “As long as you can give me the results as soon as possible, I’ll pay whatever you want.”

The man was straightforward, replying, “Deal! As long as you can pay enough money, we will try our best!”

Mathilda bit her lip and lowered her voice, “Go and investigate Conrad. I want to know what he has done outside. I will only give you three days!”
