Xenia sobbed and complained, "But I nearly died."

"Xenia, I know you've always been mature and thoughtful. Although Xenia left him, we're still a family at the end of the day. Don't hold a grudge against her."

After a pause, Lucas continued, "In addition, there's no evidence to say that Noelle did all this to you, right?"

She then strutted away in her little dress and heels.

Noelle changed into a white shirt and jeans after her shower. She found that she had many missed calls from an unknown number. Another call came in from that number.

"You're Noelle, right?"

Noelle said coldly, "That's me. And you are?"

"I'm Harvey Solaris, the lawyer representing the Merlocks. I would like to speak to you in person regarding your confrontation with my client, Samantha."

"There's nothing to talk about. I hope she atones for her sins and becomes a better person!"

Harvey was enraged. "Noelle, you're quite brave. Aren't you scared you'll inconvenience the Liddells?"
