Grace nodded. "Alright, I'll head back then."

Noelle made her way to the office alone. As she entered, both Lionel and Morgan were waiting.

Lionel's tone was less than welcoming. "Noelle, I understand you've filed a complaint against Samuel. is this because of a lover's dispute that he sneaked into your dorm?"

"Even if we had a dispute, the fact remains that Samuel bribed the dorm supervisor and sneaked into the dorm to attempt a sexual assault. Plus, it isn't the first time this has happened! The school should investigate instead of twisting this crime into some trivial lovers' spat!"

Lucas slammed his hand on the table. "I'm her brother and guardian. Why shouldn't I be here?"

Lionel faltered. "Noelle is an orphan, isn't she?"

Morgan interjected, "Mr. Kramer, I did tell you she isn't an orphan."

Lionel hadn't been present during the previous scandal on the school forum, but both he and Bruce had suffered in the face of the truth.

"Who said she's an orphan? Our parents may have passed on early, but she has her brother!"

Noelle was clearly not someone who could be easily appeased. It seemed that there was nothing they could do to get her to drop the charges.

Noelle left the office after having achieved her goal. Lucas cautiously caught up to her and said, "Frank told me to come back you up after he learned about everything that happened. He said you won't be able to handle it yourself."

"I would've done fine even without you. You're just meddling. Don't ever try to claim to be my family again!" Noelle's voice was firm and resolute.

"You think you could've handled this alone?"

At that moment, Noelle noticed Donovan and Xenia approaching from the stairs. She smirked.

Reeking of alcohol, Donovan wore a stern expression. "Samuel has the Merlock family to back him up! Do you even realize what kind of trouble you've stirred up?'
