Noelle applied the ointment, and Grace helped her with the patch on her back.

Curious, Grace asked, "Who sent this ointment? Your boyfriend?"

"No. Just a friend," Noelle replied. She glanced at the book on the table, feeling like Cedric was mocking her. She picked up her phone again and transferred some money to him.

Cedric was puzzled and wrote, "No reward without merit."

After sending the money, Noelle waited for a while, but there was no reply, and it seemed that he had not accepted the money transfer.

The following day, she woke up, and the soreness in her body had doubled. But the area where she had applied the ointment felt much better.

Cedric had really guessed well. Noelle grabbed her textbooks and went downstairs with Grace, ready to attend class. But outside the dormitory building, she saw Lucas.

He nodded cautiously. "I can make it up to you, but can you not pursue the responsibility with Frank?"

Noelle sneered. "And how exactly do you want me not to pursue it?"

Noelle turned her head and looked at Lucas. "Have you received the demand letter?"

"Demand letter? Are you really planning to sue us?" His eyes widened in disbelief.

Noelle sneered. "You should hire a good lawyer." After saying that, she walked off with Grace.

Lucas stood there, a helpless and bitter expression on his face. He thought she would just be angry, but he never expected her to go this far. Was she really going to sue him?

Just then, Xenia rushed over, her tone anxious.

"Lucas, Noelle really sued us. The demand letter has already been delivered to Donovan. What do we do now? What did she say when you spoke to her?"

Lucas bent his back, unable to straighten up.
