The smile on Noelle's face turned cold after hearing Wyatt's words. So now, he was greedy, huh?

She sarcastically announced, "Mom and Dad left the room for me. You have no right to make me move."

"Your room is the biggest, so why shouldn't you move? After Xenia and I get married, we need the biggest room. You can just stay in Xenia's small room."

Wyatt had noticed earlier that Noelle had spoken up for him. He took it as a sign that she still cared and feared that he'd ignore her, so now, he felt justified in making demands.

Noelle's lips curled with sarcasm. "Wyatt, are you sure you wanna stay in my room? Let me tell you a little story about something that happened there just a few days ago…"

Xenia's face paled at her words. She quickly turned to Wyatt. "I suddenly feel a little unwell."

"What's wrong?"

"I don't know… My chest just feels a little tight. Can you check for me?"

Wyatt blushed. "I'll call the family doctor for you."

As he held onto Xenia in his arms, he turned to Noelle and shouted, "What are you waiting for? Call the doctor!"

Noelle unhurriedly enjoyed her dessert and didn't bother getting up. Lucas sneered. "Xenia has always loved faking illnesses. Calling a doctor won't help."

"You two are unbelievable! Is this how you treat Xenia when I'm not around? She's going to be your future sister-in-law!"

Wyatt ended up getting the butler to call the family doctor instead.

Noelle gave Xenia a meaningful look, while the latter got so scared that she dared not even meet Noelle's eyes. She seemed terrified of that video of her and Gordon in the bedroom getting out.

Lucas looked at Noelle and hesitantly asked, "Why don't you just expose Xenia for scheming against you and ending up with Gordon herself? That way, Wyatt would dump her."

"Don't you think this sounds more interesting? If you want to do it, go ahead. I'm not stopping you."

Now was not the right time for the video to come in handy. Noelle needed a plan that would lead her straight to Sean. The clue from the foundation had gone cold, so she had to find another way.

Cedric still hadn't responded. What was he doing?

She couldn't resist calling him. It took a while for the call to finally be answered, but the voice on the other end belonged to a woman.

Noelle's breath hitched. The voice sounded familiar. She called out in disbelief, "Ms. Merlock?"

"I know you have a lot of questions, Ms. Liddell, but now isn't the time to talk. Meet me tomorrow morning at the coffee shop across from your school. We'll talk face-to-face."

"Why do you have Cedric's phone? You—"

The call was cut off before Noelle could finish. She immediately tried calling back, but it was hung up.

Her mind was in chaos. Why would Laura have Cedric's phone at this hour? Were they together?

She anxiously scrolled through her chat history with Cedric. Everything seemed perfectly normal.
