Noelle was shocked after reading the reply. She messaged, “Are you his younger brother?”

Magnus struggled back up from the floor, his hands still trembling as he typed up a reply. Yeah. I’m his adorable, obedient, and incredibly talented younger brother! Anyway, when did he get himself a disciple? Why don’t I know about this?”

He wondered if that girl from the Liddell family was indeed Cedric’s disciple.

Magnus asked, “Are you Noelle Liddell?”

“Yes, I am. Has Cedric talked about me before?” replied Noelle.

She did not expect that Cedric’s younger brother would know about her.

Magnus was so shocked that he continuously murmured a string of curses to himself. His hands were still trembling as he picked up his phone to make a phone call to Cedric.

Cedric answered the call instantly and asked, “What’s wrong, Magnus?” He was sitting in his study in front of his computer, rubbing his temples as he closed a program window.

Magnus complained, “It’s not fair, Cedric! I can’t believe you secretly took Noelle as your disciple and taught her the 12–hit combo! You never even taught me that! Am I even your younger brother, for real? I must’ve been adopted! Boohoo!”

Cedric immediately tensed up. “How do you know that?”

“I just logged into your account, and she was already looking for you. We talked briefly, and she told me all of that herself!”

Only then did Cedric notice the messages that Noelle had sent him earlier.

“Log out of my account now!” said Cedric.

“You still haven’t told me why you taught her the 12–hit combo! Don’t you know that sh my opponent in the tournament?”

Cedric’s tone was instantly stern as he insisted, “Like I said, she learned it herself! I’m giving you three seconds. Log out now!”

Magnus memorized Noelle’s username before reluctantly logging out from Cedric’s account. Why are you panicking so much, Cedric? Is she your new girlfriend? Don’t worry. I fully support your decision to pursue true love instead of an arranged marriage!”

“Shut it. What did you say to her?”

“I didn’t say anything. I only told her that I’m your younger brother.”

Cedric immediately hung up the call and logged back into the game to find Noelle still online.

He had genuinely panicked. For a split second, he almost thought that Noelle had figured out his identity.

Noelle’s eyes widened in surprise while he awkwardly turned his head to the side. He continued, “With my help, you’ll become the best player ever.” His tone carried a hint of arrogance.

Noelle smiled and replied, “I’d like to join the national team if I ever get the chance. It’d make our country proud.”

She never had the opportunity to do so in her previous life, as Xenia had taken the spot.

Cedric calmly replied, “It will be easy for you to do so. But for now, we’ll think about it after your exams.

Noelle then logged off after the both of them finished running dungeons.

Cedric immediately called Magnus, and the call was picked up immediately. “You’re finally calling me, Cedric! I’ve been dying to know just what your relationship is with that disciple of yours!”

“First of all, you must not tell anyone about this, especially our family.”

Magnus immediately straightened his back and replied, “Of course. I would never sell you out!

“Second of all, Noelle doesn’t know who I am yet, so we can’t leak my identity.”

“Of course, Cedric. There are way too many gold diggers out there these days, after all! You can only build an actual normal relationship by hiding your identity. But I gotta ask, is my future sister–in–law still underage or something? Cedric! Are you going for a minor?”
