"I ran a bath for you." He brought me to the bathroom and set me down. "We shouldn't have done it twice." I laughed. I'm not embarrassed around him anymore. "Other than that, how do you feel?" I pulled Zane's shirt off and smiled.
"I feel good. I feel so close to you." I wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Because you are." He laughed and so did I.
"No I mean-" He cut me off and nodded.
"I know. It's hard to explain." I shook my head and stepped into the tub.
"No, it's impossible. Come on." He nodded and undressed, stepping into the tub too.
"I love you." He mumbled into my ear and I smiled.
"I love you too."
~Zane's POV~
The bond just made everything better. She completely trusts me, which made me so happy. I honestly thought this day would never come. She isn't embarrassed about anything around me anymore. Especially with her body. I love this. I love her.
"What are we doing today?" She asked as we both walked out of the bathroom.
"I was thinking we could go shopping." She turned around and narrowed her eyes.
"You want to go shopping?" I nodded and opened my dresser.
"Yeah sure." She nodded and started waking out of the room. "Um, I just heard someone pull up. You might want to put some clothes on Sunshine." She looked around and I threw one of my hoodies towards her. She caught it and brought it up to her nose.
"It smells so good." She walked forward towards me, pecked my cheek then hurried off to her room. I decided to wear black jeans and a black tight shirt. Just as I finished getting dressed, the front door opened and I rolled my eyes. Only Jonah just walks in like that. Unless it's an emergency.
"Yooo!" I heard him yell. As I was passing by Devina's room she popped her head out and grabbed my arm.
"How hot is it going to be today?" I pulled out my phone and checked the weather for her.
"Eighth five." She furrowed her brows.
"Should I wear shorts then?" I raised my eyebrows, she never wears shorts outside of the house.
"Yes." I grinned and kissed her lips. "You should." She smiled too and went back into the room.
"Zane!" Jonah yelled from downstairs.
"Zane," I shook my head and placed it in her hands.
"Seriously. Just think of it as a gift then." She rolled her eyes and pushed it into her back pocket.
"I'm not using it unless I have to." She mumbled and started walking. Sometimes she's so stubborn. I smiled and followed her.
After three stores, and a ton of bags, I could tell Devina was tired of walking. She probably hurt too. *Insert smirking emoji* I laughed at myself and walked us to the food court.
"Chinese?" She grinned and nodded. When we got our food, we found a place to sit, and started eating our food.
"So," She set down her fork and looked past me.
"Yeah?" I urged her on. She looked down at her hands then back up at me.
"I grabbed an application at one of the clothing stores while you were trying on those jeans." I set down my fork too and just blinked at her.
"You're actually thinking about getting a job?" She nodded and pulled out the few pieces of paper.
"I'm not thinking anymore, I'm doing." My eyes wouldn't leave the paper as it sat in between us. "Zane I want to do this. I want a job. I want this job." I nodded and picked up the paper.
