Chapter 779: Answers From The Past

Xyron began to explain further.

"When the absolute darkness from hell was about to swallow the entire universe, two powerful deities had sacrificed their lives by devoting their divine cultivation to help the Lord of Darkness to absorb that threatening absolute darkness. One deity was the previous god of war, the one before Draven and the other one was the heavenly empress," Xyron looked at Evanthe, "That means your mother, deity Evanthe."

Evanthe indeed had a question about her mother, and now she had the answer. Her mother sacrificed herself to protect others.

Xyron continued, "The previous god of war perished. Later, the new god of war was chosen, the one whom the previous God of War had chosen as his heir, the young deity Draven. He was even more powerful than the previous god of war. There was the most powerful sword buried in the depths of the celestial mountain, the sword which said to be one of the creations from the tears of an ancient celestial phoenix, one of the most powerful ancient beast. Draven was the only god who could possess that sword or more like it is said that the sword itself had chosen him. With that sword, he was considered invincible among all three realms.

"Because of his accomplishment and the powers he possessed, he was given the additional title by the heavenly emperor himself- Aramis, which is also the name of the celestial mountain from where Draven had retrieved that sword. Aramis is the strongest and sacred mountain in the heaven realm that can never be affected by anything. That is how he became the God of War named Draven Aramis, who possessed elegance, bravery, and immense strength which could protect the heaven realm single handedly."

Xyron recited a few tales of Draven’s accomplishment in the heaven realm and said, "...It’s difficult to believe that the most powerful god of war reduced to this state.

"Deity of Fire," Draven spoke, "How was she related to the God of War?"

Xyron raised a brow, "You forgot about her as well? That’s truly disrespectful towards her."

Draven sighed inwardly as his regret and guilt was greater than anyone. "If you are done enjoying my misery, get to the point."

"Deity of Fire was initially a celestial phoenix bird which was another creation from the ancient celestial phoenix. She was created from the ashes of feathers of a celestial phoenix. Back then, the Celestial Empress found her and she was the one to raise that phoenix bird and nurtured her with her own divine powers," Xyron said as he looked at Draven. "You have no memories of having that little bird around you and coming after you all the time. She even slowly turned into your own pet after the heavenly empress perished to the absolute darkness. It is said that she found her new master in you."

"Pet?" Draven was surprised.

Xyron chuckled, "That was not an ordinary phoenix, but the one born from traces of the most powerful ancient creature, the celestial phoenix. That small phoenix bird had to cultivate for a long time till she finally achieved a human form from the bird form and became the deity of fire.

"But that’s a long story and someone from the heaven realm might explain it in the details as I am not aware of the entire tale. All I know is that once she transformed into the human form, she became the deity of fire. She was powerful, powerful enough to absorb the hellfire which broke out from the depth of hell and saved all three realms.

"Because of the hellfire she possessed, she became the most powerful deity, as powerful as the Lord of Darkness himself. At that time, the heaven realm which was already wary of the most powerful Lord of Darkness, had another powerful deity to fear. She was invincible and held the power to destroy all three realms in the blink of an eye and no god or demon could even stop her. She is more like a threat to every existence."
