Ellinor scanned through the chat messages and said in a flat tone, “Theo, deal with your friends yourself.” 

Theo stared at her, “I can’t handle it.” 

Ellinor looked at him through the mirror, frowning in confusion, “Why can’t you? Just deal with them the same way you invited thern out for drinks before.” 

Theo said, “I’m broke.” 

Ellinor fell silent. 

The makeup artist who was doing Ellinor’s hair revealed a surprised yet amused expression on the side. It was inconceivable for such a tall and charming man to 

utter the words, ‘I’m broke‘. 

Ellinor chuckled. Only then did she remember that Theo had given all his bank cards to her, so he was indeed broke on his phone. 

“You deal with it I’ll foot the bill.” Ellinor said, understanding the big picture. 

Theo had been waiting for her to say that. He gently touched her nose, “Thanks for your generosity, my wife” 

His rough hand tickled her nose, making Ellinor wiggle her nose. Theo calling her his wife made her blush. 

The makeup artist was still here, and Theo was being so affectionate.

Jonah replied, “Yo! Theo, are you done with your photo shoot? Share some pics with us!” 

Theo answered, “Buzz off.” 

Jonah continued, “You’re so harsh to me. In the few days I haven’t seen you, you’ve become a henpecked husband!” 

Theo told Belinda, “Kick that non–human thing above out!” 

Belinda struggled to find the right response. 

Jonah begged for forgiveness. “Okay! Don’t kick me! I’ll stop messing around! Theo, when are you going to arrange this for us? I think today’s good; let’s do it. 

today!” 

Belinda replied, “Sounds good! I could use a drink today” 

Then, Balfour, who usually didn’t chat on social apps, unusually showed up in this group chat. “You guys can come to Pearl Moon, I’ll arrange it tonight.” 

Jonah was shocked, “Balfour, what wind blew you out today?” 

Balfour replied. “What? Am I not welcome here?” 

Jonah replied, “Of course I welcome you, but it’s not up to me today. You have to ask Theo.” 

Theo answered, “Okay.” 

Kemp also chimed in, “Let’s go to Pearl Moon then; they have the good wine that Balfour collected” 

Jonah replied, “Deal!” 

Ellinor also pulled out her phone to check the group chat, but she frowned at Balfour’s message. 

Balfour also wanted to drink with her and Theo? 

An hour later. 

The studio staff respectfully told them, “Mr. Blanchet, Ms. Mendoza, your wedding photos are done. We’ll call you in a few days to pick up the photos, please leave your contact information for us to call.” 

Ellinor nodded, picked up the pen, and left her phone number. 

Belinda couldn’t wait any longer, “Theo, Ellinor, your wedding photos are finally done. Let’s go to Pearl Moon and celebrate! Jonah and the others are already there” 

Ellinor waved her hand without enthusiasm, “I’m feeling tired. I’m not planning to go, you go with Theo” 

After hearing Ellinor’s refusal, Belinda seemed unhappy, “Ellinor, how could you not go? You’re the star today! If you don’t go, what are we all celebrating? Are you planning to let Theo face their teasing alone?”
