Patricia choked up. “The doctor said there’s nothing senous with him physically The vomiting is a normal reaction to the concussion, but the kid is really scared, and he needs comforting. It would be best if his dad could be with him. Theo, can you come?” 

Theo fell silent. 

In the silence, Ellinor smiled, “You should go!” 

Even without hearing who was on the other end of the call or what they were saying, she guessed it was Patricia. 

If Patricia didn’t have anything else, she was definitely looking for an excuse to get Theo to go to her, and her excuse was always that kid. 

After hearing Ellinor say, “You should go.” Theo immediately hung up the phone, turned to look at her, picked up a dessert from the table, and put it to her mouth, “Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere today.”
