Brian came back after going to the toilet and was slightly taken aback when he saw Madeline ironing the clothes.

Before he called her name, Madeline turned around and smiled, saying, “Mr. Atkinson, the coffee is ready.”

Brian showed no expression. He didn’t suspect Madeline. He just felt that Madeline was really trained by Jessica, and there were traces of Jessica all over

her.

Jessica didn’t wake up until three or four in the afternoon. She woke up because she was hungry.

The sun in late June was getting scorching. The fierce sunlight shone obliquely through the window. Fortunately, the air conditioner was on in the office. Jessica was covered with a thin blanket.

“Dad, why didn’t you wake me up?” Jessica was dazed for a moment and came to her senses when she saw Dereck by the desk.

“Why should I?” Dereck replied and closed the folder in his hand. “You’re hungry, right? Let’s get off work early today and go home for dinner.”

Jessica didn’t want to waste time. She still had a lot of work to do. Just as she was about to refuse, her stomach growled disappointingly.

“Come on, let’s go.” Dereck smiled and said, “Your mom made soup for you.”

Jessica smiled helplessly, touched her stomach, and followed Dereck back.

“That guy is finally willing to buy you gifts now, but it’s too late.” Dereck suddenly said when they entered the elevator.

Just as Jessica was about to ask what had happened, Dereck took out a bag of imported fruits and gave them to her. Jessica then knew that he was talking about Brian sending imported fruits to her every day.

Dereck knew everything about Grant Group. He also knew that Brian sent Jessica fruits and other things every day. He heard from Herbert that the portions were quite large. But he didn’t expect that every employee in the company would get some fruit.

When Jessica was asleep, Dereck went around the CEO’s Office/ He found that there were some fruits on everyone’s desk and realized that they were all the fruits sent by Brian.

The fresh fruit was air freighted to Grant Group every day, and the freight was several times more expensive than the fruits themselves.

Dereck thought, ‘If Brian had treated Jessi better earlier, they wouldn’t have come to the point of getting a divorce.’

Jessica looked at the fruits Dereck handed over and shook her head, saying, “I’m tired of them.”

“I see.” Dereck thought for a while. After they got out of the elevator, he casually gave the fruits to the receptionists.

After having dinner, Jessica wanted to go back to the company, but Stella and Dereck didn’t agree. Not wanting them to worry, Jessica turned and went to Inkspire Studio without telling her parents.
