Monique heard Simon's words: "Monnie, you take good care of yourself."

Monique stopped her footsteps. She felt utterly devastated as Simon still cared for her, despite her hurting his feelings.

Monique continued walking away, fearing that her hesitation would give Simon false hope.

'Simon should have a better life than being restrained here.'

Simon witnessed Monique fade from his view. His nose was stuffed, eyes reddened, and tears started rolling down his face as he muttered, "Monnie, wait for my return!"

Monique reached a corner and started sprinting her way out of the jail.

It was all because of her that Simon was locked up. It was because of her that Simon had to leave B City.

Louise quickly went up and supported Monique when she saw her dash out when tears were flowing down her face. "What's wrong, Monique?"

Monique hugged Louise and cried for some time before she managed to compose herself. “I'm fine, I just feel sorry for him. He agreed to leave the city."

Louise patted Monique's back, "Don't be too upset, perhaps it’s not a bad thing for him after all. Didn't Mandy mention earlier that the kindergarten was not gaining any profit? Even if Simon continued operating the kindergarten, no one can say for sure how long it would last."

Monique puckered her lips and sighed. "Let's find a place and give him a call."

Monique tidied herself and left the police station with the support of Louise.

Logan was dumbfounded after going through Monique's profile.

‘Monique Xander is nothing more than an ordinary lady.’

Stella felt repulsed after going through all the information; she then made an appointment and went shopping happily with her best friend.

Henry answered.

A very polite tone came from the other end, "Simon has agreed to leave B City. Miss Xander seemed to be pretty upset. She kept crying!"

Henry's expression was awful as a fire of exasperation swirled in his eyes. 'She's crying over that guy again. 'That man totally occupies her heart.'

As soon as Henry hung up, he picked up the phone and smashed it on the desk.

The huge 'bang' stunned Logan.

"Who called? Does he have to be so angry?" Logan muttered.

Henry squinted his eyes that were filled with an anger that would make anyone tremble.
